NAEPC Webinar: Business Succession Planning
This intermediate program will describe the characteristics of a family business, the goals of the founding family member, and the various strategies for passing the business down to the next generation or disposing of it outside the family, in some cases with examples. It will also discuss the business succession planning process and highlight difficult issues that can arise and ways to avoid or minimize problems.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Lou Mezzullo is a consulting partner with Withers Bergman LLP, practicing principally out of its Rancho Santa Fe, CA office. He is a former President of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, former chair of the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, and former chair of the American College of Tax Counsel. He has authored or co-authored 14 books on Estate Planning related topics.
