It will include discussion of both the context that makes the developments significant and the potential effects on estate planning and our professions.\n \nABOUT THE SPEAKER\n \nRonald D. Aucutt is a partner in the Tysons, Virginia office of McGuireWoods LLP and is co-chair of the firm’s Private Wealth Services Group. Ron is a Fellow and former President (2003-04) of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), an academician of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law and former member of its Council (2000-04), a former Vice Chair (Committee Operations) of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation (1998-2000), a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and the American Bar Foundation, and a member of the Christian Legal Society. Ron received a B.A. degree in 1967 and a J.D. degree in 1975, both from the University of Minnesota, and has been a lecturer in law at the University of Virginia School of Law.\n \nCONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT\n \nContinuing education credit is available at each webinar for Accredited Estate Planner® designees. In addition, a general certificate of completion will be made available for those professionals who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements and are able to self-file. It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine whether their state, discipline, or designation will allow one to self-file for a distance-learning program.\n
