Hi All:  Don't miss this opportunity to learn the critical components of the Affordable Care Act for Estate Planners.

Christopher Bao is the Compliance Manager in the employee benefit’s division for Barney  and Barney's Orange County office.  Christopher helps to ensure that all clients within the California area are compliant with the somewhat complicated and sometimes confusing regulations involved with employee benefits.  Although there are many regulations associated with employee benefits, many of those regulations include provisions from COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and will also include those upcoming regulations associated with the new health care reform law.

Christopher is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona, and has had over seven years of litigation experience in multiple areas of the law.  He first began his career at the law firm of Donaldson Stewart, P.C., and continued his career at the law firm of Owens & Perkins, P.C., located in Scottsdale, Arizona.  He went on to become a Staff Attorney within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, where he handled a variety of litigation matters for the Community, and was involved with helping the Community draft a Rules of Evidence for its Community Court.  Christopher has diversified his practice areas to include insurance, real estate, business formation, tax advice, consumer advocacy, bankruptcy, estate planning and family law.

Chris attended Northern Arizona University, where he graduated Cum Laude with Honors, and obtained a Bachelors of Science in American Political Studies.  In addition to obtaining his Bachelors of Science at Northern Arizona University, Christopher began his law school career at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and completed his law school career at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
