Josh West is an advisor consultant for Hartford Funds. He is responsible for marketing Hartford Funds and The Hartford SMART529 in San Diego, Inland Empire, and Orange County, California, and in Hawaii. Josh supports financial advisors and their clients with educational material, client seminars, product expertise, and practice-management strategies. Josh joined the organization as an advisor consultant in 2013. Prior to joining the company, he worked for Fidelity Advisor Funds as a regional vice president, for Hartford Leaders Variable Annuity as a regional marketing director, and at Merrill Lynch as an internal annuity specialist. He is a registered representative of Hartford Funds Distributors. Josh earned his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation and is FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered. Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Josh attended the University of Florida where he received a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics. He currently lives in Carlsbad, California, with his wife, Lynee, and their son, Nathan.
