ABOUT THE WEBINAR

This intermediate program will cover what the speaker views as the ten most significant developments of 2016 that affect estate planning and related federal tax issues. It will include discussion of both the context that makes the developments significant and the potential effects on estate planning and our professions.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Ronald D. Aucutt is a partner in the Tysons, Virginia office of McGuireWoods LLP and is co-chair of the firm’s Private Wealth Services Group. Ron is a Fellow and former President (2003-04) of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), an academician of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law and former member of its Council (2000-04), a former Vice Chair (Committee Operations) of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation (1998-2000), a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and the American Bar Foundation, and a member of the Christian Legal Society. Ron received a B.A. degree in 1967 and a J.D. degree in 1975, both from the University of Minnesota, and has been a lecturer in law at the University of Virginia School of Law.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

Continuing education credit is available at each webinar for Accredited Estate Planner® designees. In addition, a general certificate of completion will be made available for those professionals who feel the program satisfies their continuing education requirements and are able to self-file. It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine whether their state, discipline, or designation will allow one to self-file for a distance-learning program.
